The San Francisco State Transportation Department provides free shuttle service during the fall and spring semesters. There is no shuttle service on weekends, during the summer, or on campus holidays. When the shuttle is not in service, commuters may use Muni route 28. TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF CAMPUS SHUTTLE SERVICE
SF State is temporarily suspending shuttle service from Daly City BART to the 19th Avenue drop-off until further notice.
With very limited students, staff and faculty coming to campus effective Fall semester 2020, SF State is temporarily suspending shuttle service to Spring Semester 2021 from Daly City BART to the 19th Avenue drop-off until further notice.
Alternative MUNI services to and from campus; below is a list of alternative MUNI services to and from campus to assist you in getting to and from campus.
Line 28 19th Avenue – from Daly City Bart to 19th Avenue, running every 15 minutes
Line 29 Sunset – from Bayview to The Presidio, runs through Winston Drive, Lake Merced Boulevard, 19th Avenue and Holloway every 15 minutes
Line M Ocean View train – from Embarcadero to Balboa Park, runs through 19th Avenue every 15 - 20 minutes
For students, MUNI ride is free with student GatorPass.

Remember, when on Muni or BART, masks or face coverings are required. Give yourself extra time and practice physical distancing. When boarding Muni, be sure to board by the back door unless you require any assistance.
Although the campus shuttle service is temporarily suspended, on-campus safety escorts and transport assistance for individuals with mobility issue continue to be available. If you require this service, call UPD at (415)338-7200, and a safety escort will assist with a cart service within 10-20 minutes.

Passengers may ask for a ride to any of these stops during a time not listed, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
At BART, inform the Campus Loop Driver which location you need to be dropped off at. Also, if you need assistance back to BART or another listed location, arrange for return trip at this time or call (415) 338-1441. No service available during 11:00am to 12 and 3:00pm to 3:30pm or after 6:30pm.
Working with our Transit Partners
SF State is committed to working with our transit partners to provide accessible transit. As part of our commitment, all contracted shuttle drivers are required by contract and law to provide accessible transport. Our Parking and Transportation Office keeps a record of the monthly trainings each of the drivers attend, conducts annual trainings for shuttle drivers in cooperation with the Disability Programs and Resource Center.
